Does anyone know if the resorts are decorated for Halloween? We will be staying at ASMo the week of Halloween, doing MNSSHP on Halloween night, but I was wondering if the resorts are decorated as well??

In general no they do not decorate for Halloween. I know many of the resorts do stock up on candy so the mousekeeters visiting can trick or treat at the Front Desk or Concierge.

When at the Contemporary for Halloween in the past they have had a Jack-O-Lantern carving contest and all were displayed around a beautiful Autumn motif. They had an area set up on the 4th floor with Fall and Halloween decorations.

:bounce: We have a group of 11 staying at the ASM after our Wonder cruise. We will be attending the MNSSHP on Halloween night and I was wondering the same thing???

We made a PS for Ohana the night of the party at 5:20 and I have heard that you see lots of people in costume and so we should not feel out of place all dressed up.;)

I know it will be a crazy night, but I am ready for it! We did the MVMCP in 2001 and loved it. This is our first time to be there for Halloween!!:p

The Beach Club had a pumpkin carving contest as well. They were all really impressive, especially a Stitch pumpkin that we saw. I went to MNSSHP last year on Halloween and I loved it. It was one of the best times I've had in WDW, and that is definitely saying something. Be sure to watch the Halloween parade, it's great!

 I figure Halloween night will be the busiest party of all?? How was it last year?? Were you able to do everything you wanted?? I think we are going to MK that morning so that we can do what we want before the Party. Then hit the resort for a nap.

I have a ressie at 5:20 for Ohana and then hope to jump the Monorail to the party by 6:30 or so.....:p

We were able to do everything we wanted to do. We tricked and treated in all of the 'lands' and got on rides, listened to stories, and watched the parade (watch out for the headless horseman!), took pictures with characters, and just people-watched in general. It seemed that there was a lot to do so the crowds are well dispersed--the longest lines of anything I remember were the trick-or-treat lines in Frontierland (must have been giving away chocolate). Don't forget to wear a costume!

Goodfaries,

Great!! I am so excited:bounce: :bounce:

Don't worry we have costumes in mind!! 11 of us going....

I am going to wear an old prom dress and be Belle!! My daughter wants the Red deluxe Belle dress. So I will be traditional Belle and DD Christmas Belle. MY BF is going to be a Prince.....

Should be fun!
