Do the points at the resorts change?

I believe I understand about the points now but I have a question. Do the number of points it takes to stay at the resorts ever change? For instance, if I buy 150 points because I want to stay at OKW, will Disney increase how many points it takes to stay there in a few years so that I would have to buy more?

Quick answer - no.

The DVC resorts have a set number of "total" points for the year. If the point requirements to stay in one season would increase, then they MUST be offset by a decrease in another season.

They have proven to be very stable in the past, maybe increasing/decreasing by +/- a couple of points, but nothing major.

HOWEVER, there is nothing to keep the cost in points to NON-DVC accomadations (Poly/Contemp/GF/Cruise, etc.) from increasing without limits. That's why I always attempt to use my points at DVC resorts as much as possible. That's (IMHO) the best bang for your points "buck".
