Do the parks over open early during non- peak times?

I read an article from several months ago that said the park without early entry opened 30 minutes early. Certain Disney parks are known for opening a little early as well. Does US/IOA usually open on the dot or do they often open early? (As for when in the off season, um, this week).

They usually open about 15 minutes early.

Thank you very much! Knowing this got us to the gate a little early this morning. I always underestimate the hike from the parking garage with kids. We arrived a little before 8:45 and they were already letting people in. Minions was was a walk-on!
