Do the Inconsistencies Bother You?

I think with the new FD deal, it depends on when you are traveling (and possibly where you are staying) as to whether or not you are getting a room discount in addition to the FD. We are going 10/4 - 10/12 to CSR. We initially had a 40% room discount with a PIN code (which was the same as the Fall pkg discount...at least for our dates). We gave up the 40% discount on the room to get the FD pkg, but with that pkg we also received almost a 10% discount on our room as well. In our case, we are paying the value season rate even though our dates are in regular season. So we are NOT getting to use both codes...we only have the FD code QXZ. It just happens for our dates/resort that we are getting a discounted room with the FD pkg. Now how the system is determining what rooms/dates get the additional room discount....who knows! Just wanted to clarify that I don't think anyone is getting to "stack" the discount codes.

Oh, I don't think anyone is "stacking" discounts. I just think some people are being offered a discount on the room along with the FD and some are not When I heard that FD was being offered with the Disney Visa, I did not expect any kind of room discount - just the Free Dining. It's just that Mousesavers is saying that SOME room discounts are available with the Disney Visa Free Dining Offer and it appears that some people are reporting a room discount in addition to the Free Dining.

I'm not suggesting that anyone is combining codes (or "stacking"), but rather that the offer itself is different depending on who you talk to.

I didn't expect to get a room discount AND the free dining, but since it was reported on a different thread, I figured I had to confirm that or I would wonder. I certianly was not expecting it ( I know they need to make some money!) and am SOOOOOO happy with my deal. When I originally booked it was rack rate and paying for dining in full. How can I complain? I can't and I'm not, but like I said, if I didn't call and confirm that I would always wonder, so I had to just be sure. We are thrilled with this deal.
