Paid off my Expedition on 4/23/09 and Paid off the house on 5/5/09

Plus I just cashed in our change jar so I can pay off our upcoming trip.....drum roll....1019.67

Now I can start saving for our 2010 trip and even throw in dollar bills this time!

Now to pay off 2 credit cards (minor amounts)and we are debit free!

I will also admit I am so jealous. Only 2 of our cars are paid off. I don't even want to think about my house payment. That is so great. My DD 12 collects my change LOL and uses it for spending money. I never see the profits there.

wow!, I have paid off credit cards, and I have paid off cars...but I don't think I will ever pay off our house!!! I don't even consider my morgage, being in debt. I don't know what I consider it...I just try not and consider it..since it will be there for the next 50 years or so.

That is so great. You are living for free.

The jar was one of those colligan water bottles, it took two days just to wrap it all since our bank doesn't take loose change. We never soend change...ever. If it's $1.01, we paid with two singles and the change went into the jar. Even with the children's lunches. Our DD is $1.25 and DS is $1.50. That alone was $6.25 a week in the jar or $256.00 for a school year.

The car was paid off 5 months early and the house was paid off 4 years early...WAHOOOOOO! It's amazing how much of a difference it makes rounding up a payment to the nearest hundred.

I might even splurge next year at WDW and try a moderate...only if they offer free dining again.
