Do the crowds really bother you?

I've never been to WDW during a horrible crowded time like during the summer, but I have been during Spring Break when it was packed. I didn't complain once though. I take it all in stride because you're at Disney World for pete's sake! So the crowds really don't bother me that much.
How about you?
:wave2:

We were there during this last spring break, and it was packed. But, no, it didn't bother us at all. Sometimes people make it seem like there is not going to be any moving or breathing space, but it really isn't that bad to me. I actually expected worse.

No not really. There are always fast passes :). It is nice to have the parks empty but it does not bug me when the parks are full. I was at magic kingdom for new years eve and the park had to close its gates becuase it was filled to the max at 10am!! The park was full the whole day and i think that was the best time i ever had at the park :) , and i have been to magic kingdom MANY times. So it does not bother me at all if the parks are full. Actually i love to go during peak seasons because that is when all the inusual characters come out. they bring out more characters on days they think the parks are going to be full :teeth:

-What bothers me is the heat!! :confused3

I consider crowds to be like men. Can't live with them, can't live without them at Disney. WDW = crowds. There was a picture posted on the boards a little while back, about Disney looking like a ghost town and how would you feel.

I personally hate crowds, but I love Disney so much, I try NOT to notice. I try NOT to notice the wait times. I try NOT to notice I'm being bumped and having my foot stepped on. I really don't mind so much, I'm on vacation at my favorite place in the world. It could be worse --at least I'm not at Walmart.

We used to go in the early summer, second week of June and then in August and the crowds were huge. Didn't really bother us but limited our attraction time, before FP's, then we went one October and now its October to March for us. We try to eliminate any holidays or conventions and that period is so nice, mass free, breeze through the attractions and weather easier on the old body.

HAHAHA :rotfl:
Yes, at least you're not at Walmart.
lol.

Yes - they bother me.

I hate the "crowds" at Wal-Mart on a Saturday afternoon, too. That's why *I* personally feel they make Xanax. :teeth:

So - yes. It makes my trip less enjoyable.... I wish I could take it in stride, but I cant / dont. :confused3

Me, no, but I've been several times now and hope to go back, so I don't feel like I have to do everything in one trip.

When we go, we take advantage of Fast Passes and have some idea of which things we need to get up early for if we want to do them, etc. If a line is too long, we do something else. I suppose that if I had 4 days and it was likely to be my only trip ever, it might bother me more. Still, crowds at WDW are better than no crowds at home. <grin>

The crowds mainly bug me when the group I happen to be stuck near is obnoxious. :)

I must admit that after shows and fireworks the crowds really do suck! People get rude and start pushing especially with those strollers :furious: , but other than that crowds are not usually that bad.

I hate crowds, lines, and the general chaos of having too many people in one place at one time. So we go to WDW in January. And I go to walmart at 7:00 in the morning.

Nope, the more the merrier (except when I gotta go potty and there is a big ol' line) :rotfl2:

I agree there.
Those strollers....ugh those strollers.... :furious:

Yes, the crowds bother me. I go early and leave after we eat an early lunch. TGM helps us avoid the worst and I plan trips during non-peak times. I also go to Walmart at 6:00 am before work! :thumbsup2

Crowds bother me but not as much as they bother my husband. He gets really annoyed. That's why we try to go in the off season but sometimes even then, there are crowds. Oh well...what are ya gonna do...just grin and bare it..I guess..:rolleyes2

A HUGE ditto.

Sadly I think January is the last low-lowish season left. I won't be surprised when Disney does something to increase the crowds significantly at this time of year.......at that point we'll sell our DVC and look for other things to entertain us. I don't like crowds and the feeling like I'm having to fight for a chair, fight for standing room or struggle to get a dinner reservation somewhere. Yuck. :p

Gotta say, crowds bother me. Thats why i really like going in the first part of December, plus i like the weather. I will never go to Disney in the Summer, we get enough heat here in Texas, plus with all the folks shoulder to shoulder.... no thanks! The first year we went i saw the crowds at MK the week of xmas, thank goodness we were already leaving... to many strollers and folks for me! No flames please :) This will be my first time going in Oct, the weather is looking nice... looks like the only crowds that I have to deal with will be on Halloween night.... other than that hoping the crowds will be minimal.

I know I'll be grinning if you bare it!

(Grin and bear it.) :sunny:
