Do the CM's know?

Ok.. so I know we all have been trying our hardest to do whatever we need to do to get the famous pin code.
So I was doing my "Disney Job" today.. looking at ressies, deleting a few, making changes, etc, so I decided to chat with a CM..
I asked him about having birthday balloons delivered to my sons room, what I would need to do with my sons peanut allergy, and also that I did get a pin code for earlier in the year, can it be extended, how can I get another pin for later in the year.. blah.. blah.. blah.. :lmao:

SOOO, my question is.. doesn't this CM already know that my vacations are already booked? :confused3 I mean, why would they send me a code when clearly they know I am already going? anyone actually KNOW a CM? I wonder if they know we are already booked??
 
Have you tried logging in and then pricing out vacations and saving the vacation offer? ( not logging into YOUR booked vacation itinerary) You can try this using the dates you're going and then save your trip. ( it won't book it, don't worry) You can save up to 5 different ones. Then when you're done saving it, go back up to the top and click on "Walt Disney World" (like you're going back to the home page) A pop up box should come up asking you why you're not booking today. You can select from a bunch of questions you answer, and then at the bottom write in something like "we're still undecided and deciding if this is the best value". Keep doing that a couple of times a week. Also, I would order the custom maps...go through all the steps, pick your favorits for the maps....order a vacation DVD. Just order / sign up for anything they have!! :lmao: (the maps you can order once every six months). But we did all of this pretty vigorously and within a month I got the elusive code! :dance3: I almost cried when I got that email !! ( seriously, it was the greatest thing ever) Maybe try some of these and hopefully that may help ! Wishing you much pixie dust ! and whatever you do, DON'T give up ! it's so totally worth it. and when you get your email w/ the code ( and I just believe you will :yay:) then call and ask them if they'll apply the code to your ressie. There's been a bunch of people on different threads that have already booked and THEN gotten the code, so hang in there !!!

oh yes, I have done all this. actually my reservations were booked through a TA so I don't even know if I can view my intinerary on the WDW website. :confused3 I actually just got my maps today! :thumbsup2

I wonder though if the CM's know.. and do they have anything to do with us actually getting a pin or not? hmmmmmm:confused3
 
Honestly, i would doubt it only because so many people seem to get them after they've booked. I'd keep trying ....I know it's frustrating. believe me, I kept reading about everyone getting one thinking I'm NEVER going to get one!! and then when you least expect it, BAM ! :wizard: But I was about ready to just give up entirely and hope for free dining codes to come out! I could be totally wrong, but I think maybe that if they see you pricing out vacations and then saving them but not booking them, that info goes to the CM's and they kind of get the feeling you're waiting for a discount code. Because we really wanted to stay at the GF, and I kept pricing that out along w/ the Poly and a few others and the email that I got was "Welcome ___Family ! We see that you're interested in the Grand Floridian". It went on to talk about the specific dates I priced out, the dining plan, etc. ( kinda spooky in a Disney magic sort of way :lmao:) But at the bottom right of the email (in teeny tiny print) was "we have a special offer for you". .....I'LL SAY!!
But the email came from Disney Destinations ....it was in my spam folder too so I almost missed it. (always check your spam folder....) alot of people have said that also. Keep trying though....Santa might come early for you !!!! :santa:

^^^ It's the one that says: "I'm still planning my vacation, not ready to book" or something like that. Then on the window below you can add comments. We wrote, "we're hoping for some sort of discount for our dates." I think that did the trick. ::yes::
