In all the pictures i've ever seen the characters wear their classic outfits you're used to. Although during the new year celebrations that are just about to begin they've got special outfits designed by a famous designer "Kelly".

We stayed at the Hollywood Hotel as HKDL last August, and while at the pool, Goofy came down in beach attire to visit and was actually in the pool. I watched Goofy scoop up my daughter under one arm, and another girl under the other and walk across the pool.

I had not seen characters in the water before, so that was kind of neat.

i think they do in special occassions. i was there during the holidays and they wore christmas outfits.

During the special events like Halloween, Summer and Chinese New Years the Characters will be out in differnt costumes. But during the rest of the year where no special event is on the Characters keep to the regular stuff. Although I have spoted Chip & Dale in unusual atire before...

At HK Disneyland in December 2009 . The Characters were all dressed in Christmas Clothes. At breakfast they again had different outfits on . It was great
