Weird question but does anyone knowing the beds in the on site hotels can be moved? (Either at SL or DLH?)

We're most likely going this year & I bed share with DD and want her against a wall!

We're most likely going this year & I bed share with DD and want her against a wall!

We were in the SL a few weeks ago, and I shared with DD, and she fell out of bed the first night! (lol she was fine!) The bed didn't move, but I untucked the quilt and it has a HUGE amount of 'extra' sheet material at the end of the bed (tucked multiple times under the end of the bed) - so I turned the quilt 90 degrees, tucked it in tight on her side and there was still masses of quilt length and width wise to cover me on the other side - she didn't fall out again (couldn't have! :lmao:), and my feet didn't hang out! lol

Hope that helps!!

We had a bed that did move. They were changing them one day we stayed. We pushed it to wall. But headboard is fixed to wall (does that make sense). We then made a pillow buffer under the sheet!!

We did this a couple of weeks ago at SF. Annoyingly the maids put it back in place each day, I bet they were equally annoyed with us moving it each evening lol

we are always moving beds (twice at SF and once at SL) and maids are also were separating them every day:confused3

Yes the beds do move, we have put them together when three of us are sharing a room. We save the maids having to put them back by moving them back each morning. The only thing that doesn't move is the headboards as they are fixed to the wall.

I think the reason why they do that is because the rooms have to be made a certain way and are sometimes inspected by supervisors, so they put the beds back

I did think that myself. Just found it funny that we were probably annoying each other by moving the beds back and fore each day :(

Lol I must be so weak then, as the beds didn't budge when I tried!! Lol hey ho! Lol

Thanks everyone. Hopefully we get a room where they can be moved.

She's a bit little for a bed guard still (currently 11 months so would climb right over it if she woke up) but good to know in future we can get one. X

Headboards aren't attached to the beds;), they are attached to the wall with the base being separate:thumbsup2
