do restaurants save ADR times for off site guests?

I'm having trouble with one of my ADR's not being available and I'm wondering if the restaurants generally hold some ADR times back for off site guests? Has anyone had experience with getting ADR's once the date was exactly 90 days from the date you wanted?

We're staying offsite and I made ALL of my ADR's in late July for my late October trip. Each morning I got up and made the ADR for each day of the trip. Got EVERYTHING we wanted!

It has been mentioned that some additional times open up at the 90 day mark. So they could hold some back. We had no issue booking Le Cellier at our 90 day mark for dinner in September, we too are staying offsite.

If they are holding some back, remember that there will also be those staying onsite who know this and will also be calling to snap up those prime spots.

I did this. We are onsite so I had 90+10. I was on my computer booking at 5 am my time. Still couldn't get an ADR for Cindy's table for the first full day of my trip, a Sunday. I tried every time. I would have taken lunch or dinner. I spent a lot of time on it. Could not get a thing. Got up the next morning again at 5 am (exactly 90 days out) typed in the time I wanted (late breakfast) and there it was. There were a number of times available and they definitely were not there the day before. I don't know if they do it for every restaurant but I assume this is done for the off site guests.

I hoping this is true for the ADR I want. I've been checking evryday since my 90 day window opened and there is NOTHING from 2:45 -7:00pm. I took a 7pm ressie but it's late for the kids to eat. Hearing this will make it a little easier to get up @ 5:30am.
