Do resorts have kiddie pools?

I'm staying at POR. Does it have a kiddie pool?

I think it does - next to the main pool.

however I would walk over to POFQ - this pool slide is very, very tame and kids love it!!! be prepared to spend hours.

the PO are sisters resorts you can do activities at both.

POR does have a kiddie pool, it's part of the main themed pool. There are also several quiet pools at that resort which do not have kiddie pools.

All of the resorts have kiddie pools. They are usually next to the themed pools.

One word of caution... when we stayed at the WL, DD thought that the hot tub was the kiddie pool (I was sitting in it, so why she thought I would be sitting in the kiddie pool is really beyond me-- she was 6) and jumped in with a great splash, much to the consternation of the other guests sitting in there with me. She got quite a surprise when she hit the water and it was hot. We both got out immediately while giving many apologies.

I do not think this is true. From what I understand from reading these boards, there is NO kiddie pool at the Contemporary Resort. There is, however, a "squirting water" area that they can play in.

Can anyone think of any other resorts without kiddie pools?

You are correct... they filled in the kiddie pool... it used to be over by the playground near the North Wing. The Polynesian has the fountains for the kiddies.

To the OP,

I checked on the Disney site, and it does not specifically list a kiddie pool at POR - although it DOES list a kiddie pool at POFQ. So, I'm still not sure if there is a kiddie pool at POR.

I also checked on allearsnet.com and couldn't find a picture of a POR kiddie pool. They did, however, show one for POFQ. The following is the link to that picture:

The resorts are "sister" resorts and from what I have read, you can either walk or take a boat from one to the other and use any of the pools.
