Or do they stay the same? I'm betting that they change them yearly.
I do believe they now change yearly, as well as having individual one's for each resort.
Also, I'm glad to see that the classics are still around (mugs, golfcats, fires, and peacocks oh my!)
Oh no, I was around right when the otter stuff started, in fact, I did some otter spotting while I was there during Thanksgiving
And yes, otters are much cuter than peacocks. But that's about it![]()
Where do you fill your mugs up at the Fort? Is it Trails End?
I guess what I really want to know without sounding too cheap is--can we re-use them? Are there soda mug police watching?? I never really noticed anyone paying attention other that the day we bought the mug.
If its a whole new design, I would probably go on and buy a new one as its one of the cheapest souveniers we bought, but...the thought of saving 35.00 or 40.00 is appealing...
its kind of tan with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy around a campfire--roasting Marshmallows (or is it mEllows--never quite sure)--anyway. Poor Donald's are on fire--that Donald! I don't think there's a date on it.
Yep, that's the original one!

You can still use the old tan mugs. We were there just a few weeks ago and many campers still use them. We never have been questioned so I would not worry.
As mentioned before only the "mug police" on these boards will argue the fact. I think the mug police are the same as the fast pass police who say you can not use the Fast pass after the ending time on the ticket....
I use my mug that I bought 2 years ago and have no problems. As far as theft goes at WDW, I have read where if someone goes into a gift shop and walks out with something they will either tell the person they forgot to pay or not do anything at all because they don't want the scene.
As far as fastpass goes, I got a handful of em that I get when we leave the park for the day to use next trip. I've had a few CM's say they're expired but not many. I think only on Everest. As long as it's during the time on the ticket or after you're fine. It's those wascly otter's that try to go back before the re-enter time that get busted.
