Do princess dresses get dirty in park?

We're going to P&P party on the second day of our trip, and on the last day, DD5 is going to BBB before our CRT breakfast. I have a new Sleeping Beauty dress to surprise her with, but I'm worried it will be pretty dirty or tattered after a night in the park. I really want it to look nice for BBB photos. I'm not so obsessive that I'll freak out over a tiny spot, but will it be filthy after a night of climbing in and out of the stroller and rides?

She has outgrown her other Disney princess gowns, but has a "generic" princess gown from Halloween that she'd probably be happy wearing for the party. I know I'm worrying about it far more than she will! Just wondering how other dresses have held up...

As long as the gown is not too long so she steps on it or it scrapes on the ground, you will be fine. My DD's costumes did not get dirty or torn from the rides or stroller.

Disney is the cleanest park you will ever go to... really it amazed me going to a differant park after disney. I wore crocs to both parks, you know with holes in them no socks... after disney no big deal not hardy dirty at all, my feet after this other park were almost black dirty, nasty. Gotta love disney's high standards!!!

I think it depends on the child. My oldest can manage to get anything dirty -- anywhere. My youngest is much neater and seldom gets noticable dirt on her clothes. Of course, my oldest prefers to dig trenches in the dirt at school with the boys than play with the other girls, too, so no wonder she gets so dirty.

1. If you go on water rides either have her wear something underneath, and bring a bag for the dress... or get a good water poncho.

2. Is she messy eating? If so, once again, either put something under it or have something to wear over it while eating.

3. Make sure it doesn't drag on the ground.

My 4yo managed to get one spot of chocolate pudding on her dress. Not bad since I didn't do either 1 or 2. DD8 didn't get anything on hers, but it was very long and was already worn a bit on the botttom... so it snagged something, but it wasn't too bad.
I agree, DW i VERY clean... but watch the seats, especially in AK... those birds poop on everything.
