Do pressed penny machines display the catalog number?

The sites like presscoins.com show a catalog number for each penny - do the machines have this number on them anywhere? We're trying to figure out a way to take an inventory list so that each of the kids doesn't have to carry their folders from previous visits with them... Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't think so.

We had that same problem too. I'm kind of glad my kids grew out of wanting them.

I still gather certain ones. I'm trying to get all the Villains now. I just handwrote the list of those on an index card and mark through them as I get one.
That wouldn't work on the whole list though.

I found this site yesterday that has a list of the pressed pennies and where they are all located. they have one list for the parks and one for the resorts.

We last went to Disney World in 2007 and collected alot of the pressed pennies. Are the machines still the same as then or have they been changed out with new selections?

They get changed out, on our last trip we found new pennies for Tron 2, Up, Tangled, etc...

We use the "current listing with short descriptions" (it's only 9 pages long) on presscoins.com and cross out the ones we already have. We only take the pages that are pertinent to the park or hotel we are going to - in fact we cut it apart and put each section (such as Fantasyland, Adventureland, World Showcase, Future World, etc) in zip lock bags with the correct amount of coins (plus some additional in case of a bad printing) for that section.
We printed a second copy of that list that we keep whole and highlight those that we have and those that we get on the visit. This serves our master list. When there is an update, we use this one to repeat the process of identifying those that we have with new listing.
