Do police still get discount on room or tickets?

I seem to remember members of police getting a break in hotel or theme park tickets... anyone know?

That program lasted thru April 2002. I have not heard of another.
It sure was a great discount. It was called Disney American Hero Discount. I also believe that this discount only was offered to rescue personnel directly involved with the 9/11 relief efforts.
