Do people who walk s-l-o-w-l-y in front of your car drive you crazy?

That doesn't bother me nearly as much as the pack of middle schoolers that insist on not only walking in the road but pretty much taking up the entire road so that I have a hard time getting by and then laughing at how clever they are. Every day when I pick the kids up this happens and I have opened the window and asked them to move a couple of times which usually gets me flipped off or they stare at me and continue to walk in the road. I usually leave a few minutes later or earlier just to avoid this but I have told my kids a bunch of times if I caught them walking in the road like that it would only happen once! I always hurry to get out of the way of a car but not these kids. They actually enjoy the aggravation they cause and purposely walk down the center of the road and dare you get get by.

Sounds like our middle school. The kids walk 6 or 7 wide (and there is no sidewalk), thereby blocking one full traffic lane, while the other lane has cars stopped to pick their kids up, since they are too special to go through the car line. :sad2:

If somebody is walking in the middle the of parking lot at a shopping center, I will give them enough time to move/realize I am there. If they don't, then I will honk.

The kids in front of the high school used to do this all the time, but last year one got hit and injured real bad. I have noticed they don't linger in the road anymore.

been to pecanland mall recently have we penny?

i swear the pedestrians there are getting worse.

altho.. last week i saw a guy walking across hte garrett road overpass.. in the center of the road. anddhe was giving out dirty looks to drivers as well.

There was some kid riding his bike down the street right in front of my car. He was in the middle of the street, just riding his bike real slowly down the center of the road. :confused3 I would say he was 13 or 14. I inched my car up right behind me and gave a real long honk. He was so startled he almost fell off his bike. :lmao:

Okay, I'm mean...but it was funny.

Aw that was mean.

Have you been to my campus? I say a few words as they take their leisurely time walking when I'm trying to find a parking space.

Ah, so you know just what I mean.

Penny

yup. i eat lunch in the parking lot between applebees and olive garden, it amazes me some of the stuff i see happening in front of old navy., and as to why.. lowes no longer allows employees to smoke in hte parking lot. so i drive across to the mall.

It seems to happen a lot, almost like they are daring you.
Someone did a study a few years back, on mall parking, they asked people if you know someone is waiting to pull into your spot, do you move your car right out or take your time, most people said if someone is waiting, they take their time. :headache:

I used to work at the mall and if I was leaving I was usually very quick when I saw someone was waiting for my spot. Some days, when I had the early shift, I would have one of those spots people would kill for. One day around Christmas I was walking to my car and I see a car following me. I had just put my seatbelt on and the guy starts blowing his horn. Okay, I'm usually a nice person, but suddendly that all changed. :lmao: After several more honks he didn't end up waiting.
