Do people skip some of their MDR seatings?

I may shower in the locker room just for the products. We will see how I like H2O. I know I love the Elemis though, and I may have to get my fix that way.
You can have all my Elemis :teeth: - that's what Holland America uses, and I just don't like it. Too drying for my hair and skin.

I love the H2O stuff, though.

A little background to understand my thoughts on this. I am a sit down, get the drink orders in, when the drinks come out, the appetizer order goes in, while eating the appetizer, we look at the menu to order. We are more of the "Steak" people instead of the 25 word french name for ruining a good cut of beef people.

Between going to the room, showering, getting dressed, going to the MDR, ordering, and everything else, I do not want it to be a 3 hour ordeal. If I have a 5:30 seating time, going to start getting ready at 3:30, sitting, and getting out at 7:30 is a huge waste of time in my opinion.

Do some people just say heck with it and get meals at the walk up places and/or room service instead of going to some of the MDRs?
I'll answer your question. Yes.

Have you used them before? My wife usually goes there from the adult pool before we go down to the room. Apparently there is plenty of room to shave your legs in these showers which I am told is not that simple in the room showers.

There's so much room in the locker room showers that you could get 4 people in there if so inclined. They're huge.

I am extremely low maintenance too. I can be ready in 3 minutes or less. I was figuring, maybe too loosely, the time it takes to get from where you are to your room, each person getting ready, the time it takes to get to the MDR.
3 mins, I thought I took long to get ready. Now I have to prove to my wife others are longer than me.. Thanks

I wish Cabanas was a buffet at night....sigh.....maybe they will have an evening buffet on the two new ships. One can dream!!!

Sometimes I'm just not into having a sit down dinner and want to spend my evening in my workout clothes on deck 4 with a book, but I want something other than pool deck food. That's one of the reasons why I like Royal Caribbean. If I'm not super hungry I can just grab a snack or make a salad at the buffet and take something back to the room for later. We are sailing on the Fantasy in March. I don't expect us to use the dining rooms much for dinner as it's just my two kids and me. My DS has Aspergers and the dining rooms on DCL are just too loud and overstimulating for him. He's happier to just order some room service and watch TV while he eats before he heads back to Edge. I do however enjoy the MDR for breakfast or lunch. It's so relaxing in there.
