I LOVE these checks - but if I am reading this correctly, these are $10.99 for a box of 150. No frills - not duplicate checks, nothing. And this is at a place where I thought that it was supposedly cheaper!

I don't like paying more than $5 for a box of 200 (which I thought that norm for a box of checks) which is why I keep bopping around to new check printing places. I think that Wal-mart or Sam's wins my purchase. Not a lot of selection, but the best price I have seen...

Add me to the Wal-Mart check fans! I love them!

Thanks Adi. :) I'm kind of weird, I LOVE classic Pooh, but just kind of like the regular Pooh. I am either going to get the Mickey ones or just the plain old marble ones. Not my favorites, but I am not willing to pay double to get checks that I love.

Whoa-my-gosh, that link seems expensive!

I am looking around through the coupons I get in the newspaper (they always seem to have some check order offer). There's Designer Checks; they have a special code of DB8E to get a special introductory offer with a 2-box minimum order and a processing fee will apply. Then, there's Bradford Exchange Check, which I don't believe I have ever used. They have an offer code of 31177XAL with a 2-box minimum purchase and a processing fee applies. Take a look at these and see what you think of their offers. :confused3

Be careful using an introductory offer code if you've done business before with Designer Checks. they'll come back and get you for the difference between their normal prices and the introductory offer you didn't qualify for...

Which is why I moved to Walmart for checks!

I order mine from Checkworks.com. Its $7.99 for 150 checks. I didn't see disney checks though.

I have been shopping for checks for over a week. Sometimes it's a bit ridiculous to spend all of that time trying to save $10 or so. But sometimes it's more the principal!

ETA - Actually it is Sam's that got my order. With the shipping and handling, the total price there was better. I think. Oh well, it's done now. $13.05 for 2 boxes of 240 checks. I'm pleased.

I just used Checks Unlimited got 2 boxes of Tink checks duplicates, and 250 address labels for $10.xx total! Those should last me quite a long time, I use my debit card for almost everything so I very rarely write checks!

I just ordered from Checks in the Mail several months ago. Oddly, it was MUCH cheaper to order the SAME checks through the order form in the Sunday coupon section than it was to order them online. I was able to get my I Love Lucy checks for a great price, of course, I ordered 4 boxes. I am set for a while!

I didn't know that you could order checks from Walmart. I'll have to remember that next time. But since I write so few check these days it could be a long time...

I get free checks from my bank...and since then, I have stopped ordering designer checks. Of course, they are just the plain checks but I am not complaining since they are free. I haven't paid a single penny for checks in the last 7 years.

Is your account fee free? If so, then that would be great! We don't pay any fees with our accounts, so I don't expect bonuses like Free Checks. :)

I'm also surprised to see everyone paying for checks. We've gotten them free from the bank (Wachovia) for years. I have no idea whether new customers get them or we're grandfathered in under some old account plan.

BJ's has cheap checks. I get free checks with my current account but when I had to pay for them I bought them from BJ's because they were the cheapest at the time.

I write checks so rarely (I think its taken me 2 years to get though this box [200 checks?]) that I just reorder thought the bank.

Yes, it is a free account....no fees at all.

Wow! That's great! I don't know if there are any banks around here that give free checks with free checking or not. We have been at the same bank for years.

I don't use MANY checks, I do as much as I can online. But my mortgage is not online, nor are all of those things that the kids need - fees for sports, etc. Then there are the payment for band trips, and fundraising where they only take checks. Our collection envelope.

The last time that I bought checks was February of 2001. So we have used 800 checks in a little under 6 years. (We have used 10700 checks - give or take a few in the 27 years that we have been married. :) )
