Do park reservations ever open up?

We will be in California the week of March 10th, I was a little late choosing which days to go to the park. My daughters birthday is March 14th there is availability for CA but not DL it is sold out on the 15th (is this because of spring break?) I thought I would be safe because we are planning to go during the week Do they release more dates or is that it? I would like to do 2 days at the park with hopper.

You should grab the Cal. Adventure while you can. You should be able to park hop to DL after 1 pm.

Looking at the calendar now, it looks like 3/14 is already sold out for both parks.
