Do onsite hotel prices fluctuate?

We will be staying at Royal Pacific next year to take advantage of the perks for our two park days.

I know disney hotel prices are set unless they introduce a discount. But as these are Loews hotels, do the prices fluctuate like regular hotel prices?

I'm trying to figure out if it's worthwhile to continue watching prices or if they are what they are.

Prices for my date around the Christmas Holiday are so high that I finally took an Express Deal on Priceline for a 4* and it happily was the Royal Pacific at $324. If you think about doing that though, I'd stick with a 4.5*, since you can be 99% sure that's the Portofino.
