I am not sure what is more amazing: that someone won the quest 2 times, or that someone was able to convince 3 people to part with their unlimited use Treasure Detector Magic pin.

Especially when you're trading it away to win multiple pirate hats and green pirate pianos.

How do you know they didn't spend both days or at least a day and a half helping others get it? Don't judge until you know the facts...I know another person who got it on theirself and a mule and has been working tirelessly nonstop for two days to help me and other friends get it...you know what happens when you assume...

I agree, they could have finished their quest and walked away helping nobody else the rest of the time instead of getting all those other players through. They may have just wanted extras of the magic and gifting the other prizes to friends who could not complete the quest.

Ok so you guys are upset bc someone put through 2 of their characters. Well I put through 3. Myself and both my kids. Does this also make me a bad person? I should hope not. Lots of us here put through our own families 2, 3, 4 characters and everyone is fine with that. So what is so different here? I think you guys should step back and think a moment before bashing someone else for things we all take for granted.

I don't see one thing wrong with it. Glad your family was able to get the prizes. I'm impressed with your hard work.

Thanks for the info, I had a feeling the five star was not going to work when I tried to use a single use after he full TD and the charge time info came up.
I personally see no reason to have a five star other than it looking pretty on my lanyard. I am more than grateful for the opportunity to have on of these magic's. There are so many out there who will want this and I know my family and I are blessed at least virtually to get the quest finished.

This is one weekend I will not forget!

I know that someone also, definite got some of them in trade. The sad part (from my perspective) is use of the mule to get it while others were still trying to get first ones. I may have to reevaluate knowing friend, sigh.

This is how I did it...
Well I got my main done on Sat. while helping 10 others.
Sunday I used my main mule and hubby's character to help 10 more.
Yesterday I used Hubby mule and my sons to help another 8 ppl
so I helped 28 ppl or more get past pirates, yes they all helped me too but I dont think this makes me selfish. Why help them on a character that already finished? After having helped them achieve what they though was the impossible they were more than happy to stay for just one more game to help me.
It was all in all a good team work weekend and I completed the quest 6 times.

And thanks for the info about combining stars - I am one of those obsessive players that like the uniformity of 5 stars across the bottom of my magic pins - I am thinking I will stay happy with that 1 little star on my TD -

Actually it does abosolutely nothing here, doesn't last longer, doesn't charge faster, just looks pretty. Also, I for one am not judging those who put several characters through as well. As long as those they could get in contact with were able to be helped as well, great for them! I congratulate you all on your achievements!

i tried to get thru just for my DD (yes i WOULD have liked the prizes) we share i say props to you for helping famile and others. i tried to help others, but i had to work and was so ill the waves on the water made me sicker (lol) i sadly could not complete the quest, i applaude those who did and for hose who helped family and others MAJOR PROPS to YOU!!!
