When you originally purchase the tickets is there an expiration date that the tickets must first be used? For instance, if I purchase my 7 day MYW Premiums through Ticketmania do I have to use them by any certain date?

Thanks,
Shannon

You have the option of buying the tickets with or without an expiration date. There is a charge for no expiration with the tickets. Hope this helps!

From MouseSavers: Regular Magic Your Way Tickets expire 14 days after their first use.

Unless you pay the premium for no expiration, all MYW tickets are valid for only 14 days from first use. For example, if your first use is on a Friday, the second Friday following they are no longer valid.

Thanks for all your replys but I should have worded my question differently.

Let me try again - let's say for instance I purchase the MYW tickets by mail now- for a trip we are going to take next December. Will the tickets still be good-not a single day will have been used as of yet. So, my question is, from the date they are sold, if they are not used, is there an expiration date.

I fully understand that they expire 14 days after the first use unless you pay for the no expiration option. However I would think that the no expiration option would be for used tickets on unused days so that you could use them at a later date which is past the 14 days.

I hope this helps, thanks.

They will expire 14 days after the first use. You can order them at any time w/o worry.

I wondered this same thing! I'd like to get my MYW tickets over a year in advance if I can. Or get my 4 needed tickets as I can afford them. I'm thinking that you can buy them in as far in advance as you want to and they'll still be good.

Aspen, you seem to have understood exactly what I want to know. I want to do the same thing. I just don't want to purchase the tickets 10 months in advance, get to the gate on the first day of use and they tell me that I have hung on to them too long and they are no good. Even though I would have never used a single day. I think the best thing to do is to check with Disney directly. Muffy says that we can purchase them any time so I think she understands but since it is so much $$$, I want to be absolutely sure.

Thanks everyone for your help.
