Do most Disney Springs restaurants require reservations?

Or is there a chance I’d be able to walk up when I am there?

I have never been to Disney Springs before, and I am visiting Disney next month. One of the days there, we don’t have a dinner reservation booked and were planning to check out DS. But we wanted to play it by ear and not reserve anything beforehand. We were mainly looking at Ragland Road and Homecoming.

I don't know about Raglan Road (someone else can answer for that specific restaurant) but almost every time I ate at Homecoming it was via a walk up. I never waited more than 30 minutes for a table, but I have gone in parties of 3 or less. With more people it will be harder to do. I also notice that whenever I do walk up I am sat outside 100% of the time. Unsure if that's a coincidence or not, just my observation.

I have on more then one occasion seen people turned away at Raglan Road without a reservation.

It really depends (not a great answer, but true). There are a lot of very good quick service restaurants at Disney Springs nowadays. But specifically for those you mentioned, reservations are recommended (especially if it's a super busy/holiday time). But, walk ups can have success as well. There are last minute cancellations and tables that open up for various reasons etc., so it's worth giving it a try (if you couldn't get a reservation). If not, you still have Polite Pig, Blaze Pizza, D Luxe Burger, Earl of Sandwich etc. as back-ups.

You can always look for last minute reservations through Disney or OpenTable to see which restaurants show availability. I know you want to play it by ear but I would look at OpenTable on the morning you are going to DS and maybe reserve something then. OpenTable usually has more table inventory than directly through Disney. Problem is that not all restaurants are on OpenTable.

We have been able to order off the menu at the outside bar at Raglan Road. They have good weekday afternoon happy hour prices also!

I have always been able to walk up at Splitsville. Also the tables at their outside patio are first come, first served.

I would not trust that I could get walkups most places, with the exception of those that will serve food at the bar (both Raglan and Homecoming will, but that might not work for a family dinner). Especially on a weekend.

For Raglan Road you can book a reservation on Open Table, no penalty to cancel it.

Oh okay I didn’t know you could get reservations through open table, thanks!! I was putting off getting reservations in fear I’d get charged for canceling last minute through Disney.
