Do MB's fall off?

My DD(8) lost hers at Blizzard Beach. Now when we hit the water park we take them off.

Mine fell off twice in the same day. Once was on Everest, but it fell into the car by my feet. Other than that, we never had any issues with them coming off.

DH lost his on Soarin. He was pulling the backpack on and it pulled it off. He noticed as we went see Figment. Luckily he was able to have the CM's at Soarin look and they found it.

If the hotels are still giving those small glow in the dark sliders that they were in 2013, use those to hold the ends of your band together. DH and I did that last Nov and didn't have any problems. :)

We asked last week at the Yacht Club if they had glow sliders for 2014 since we were given the 2013 versions last September at the AKL, and they told us at the front desk that they don't have them for 2014...:(
They said they were just made in 2013 to commemorate the rollout of MM+ and magic bands.

Once I got mine snapped in holes all the way it didn't come off. Dh had few issues with band catching on backpack STRAP TAKING IT ON OR OFF BUT otherwise no issues

Thanks for the information, Pooksie! We kept ours and will be bringing them with us to put on the new bands when we get there this year. :wave2:

DH kept having his fall off when he would take his backpack off, but then he switched it to the other wrist and never had another issue. I wore the backpack for a bit and had the same thing happen, it was something about the strap catching on the band as we slid the backpack off. Other than that we never had any issues.

Mine fell off during the marathon this year...not sure why I was even wearing it! It was right as we were entering the Speedway..luckily my wife saw it fall.

Last Oct my BIL lost his on the first day, first ride, Space Mtn. A CM recovered it, guest services replaced it at BoardWalk.

It can certainly happen, we went in December and I was completely paranoid about the kids (3 and 5) loosing theres. Nope worried about the wrong one...DH lost his our first night out:confused3 I was suprised. We went the front dest the next moring and they gave him a new one. He also managed to lose his phone and luckily someone turned it into lost and found and well....Guess I had one extra kids I wasn't counting on:rotfl2:

7 of us used them last month and had no issues with them staying on securely. For a smaller wrist (like a child's) the colored part detaches and makes a smaller band. They seemed very sturdy to me:confused3

Never had a problem with mine. Now those lil addons you can put on them that's a different story . Those where falling off every day

I bought those bands that the kids use to make braclets and I'm going to try those with ours in a couple weeks. Just wanted a little extra for my piece of mind.

Sweatpea29488, don't cover the Mickey head on the MB--that's where the chip is. If it's covered I would think you'd have problems getting it to match up to whatever you were using it for. You have to match Mickey head to Mickey head (usually) or occasionally to another chip on a flat pad.

I have used my band 3 trips and never had an issue with it falling off

Thanks for the heads up. I was just going to use the bands (they are like rubber bands) like you would on a watch. They slip over so the ends of your band will slide through.
