As I plan my trip for this weekend at Universal/Disney... Grinchmas, Very Merry & Holidays Around the World... I find myself looking back on my year in trips. Good year. Did lots of events. Wish I had gotten pins from each just to commemorate them somehow. Did at a few, but skipped a few others.
I nabbed two HHN pins, but didn't grab a Not-So-Scary pin, so I picked one up on ebay. I plan to do the same for Food & Wine Fest, which I also neglected to buy. Thankfully I bought a 45th Anniversary Pin at Magic Kingdom. Now going ALL the way back to February... I went to Mardi Gras at Universal earlier this year and never even thought to look for a pin... because the year hadn't been nearly so eventful yet, and I didn't know I'd be looking to commemorate it in hindsight come December, haha.
I searched ebay and can find no trace of a Universal Mardi Gras pin for 2016 (and very little for past years). I'm not sure if that's because they don't bother making them for Mardi Gras, or if it's because there's so little secondary market demand for most Universal Pins, that no one bothers putting them on ebay.
I know Universal's pin game isn't as strong as Disney's so I figure either could be the case. So I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
Do Universal Mardi Gras pins exist? Did one exist in 2016? If so, can I still buy it somewhere?
