Do Magic Bands Go On Sale?

I still have until November to get my magic bands, but I will have to buy them due to renting DVC. Do Magic Bands ever go on sale at the Disney Store? Is it worth being patient and seeing if a more decorative band goes on sale, or is the price pretty much fixed and therefore I might as well buy them?

People who stay at DVC resorts on points still get MBs. You should be able to customize them when you enter your reservation number in MDE. Just make sure that your own address is in the shipping info.

The Christmas themed bands went on clearance. That's the only discount I've ever seen.

But, as noted, all on-site reservations get bands, included all DVC reservations.

The only thing points rooms do not get is daily housekeeping. Also, no promotions like free dining (which requires a full price room). Every thing else is the same.

We just stayed at AKV on points and all got magic bands.
