I only have 2 days at DLR this summer. First time and yes I have hoppers. I have used genie+ at WDW before and the popular attractions run out of LL early or the first available selection can be 5pm first thing in the morning. Does this happen at DLR and if so which attractions?

Yes, some of the attractions do run out, but not nearly so fast. Indiana Jones and Space Mountain are two that come to mind. But it won’t be first thing in the morning. For example, right now, the Disneyland app still has Indiana Jones LL for 11:25 tonight and Space Mountain for 9:30 tonight.

In addition to what sophy says, sometimes you'll also get messages that LLs aren't currently available, but it may not be sold out. It may just be paused because the ride itself is down. So refresh or check back later. (And sometimes when it does sell out, people will cancel or modify and their return times will go back up for grabs.)

They do run out as the day goes on but it’s generally much slower than WDW. Maybe the most popular rides start running out by mid afternoon, so you’ll have time to see what’s starting lose availability earlier in the day before it goes away completely. The website thrill data has an hour by hour breakdown of wait times for every ride and they also post the lightning lane return times if you want a visual representation of all the data before you go.

“Sold Out” is usually just a temporary condition at Disneyland. We visited just a few weeks ago and were able to get a Genie + for every attraction that we wanted with just a few minutes of refreshing.

For example, we found Mickey & Minnie’s Railway sold out at about 6 pm one evening. Within a few refreshes, passes for 9 pm popped up. After a few more tries, we were able to modify it up to 7:30 then again to 6:10. We were ready to board by the time we walked to the attraction.

We were a group of 6. Results may be different for larger families.
