Do less people attend weekday events???

I'm planning a Monday morning wedding, with a brunch reception. I know the people I care about will be there. I having it early so those that want can leave that evening. I'm planning most of the family events on Saturday and Sunday.

I had to choose the weekend wedding because I was also having an at-home reception on a Friday night (cheaper!) and a few of the out of towners had to fly to FL one weekend then fly or get to NY for the next weekend. These were our siblings mostly so it was important that we made sure they would be able to get to both of the weddings.

We had ours on a Saturday which I know made more people incur costs on flying but alot of them had M-F jobs, so they left after work Friday and were home for work on Sunday night. Of course there were a bunch of them that took the whole week off and made a vacation of it, but for me, I didn't want to ask people to take time off of work if they didn't have to or couldn't
