l am not sure about booking for ps for our 4 year old 8.30ish pm.
what do l do if book then he falls asleep ???
or if l dont book and he wants to eat ???

any advice for this unpredictable age

thanks:(

I would still book a couple of dinners and if you feel you won't make it call the PS number and cancel. People do it all the time. Plans change all the time.

There are only a few that you can't just cancel like Hoop Dee Doo Review or something like that.

I would definitely make PS ressies just so you have the option. We like to eat later since the parks close early. Also, I would recommend taking a mid-day break so you can rest. My son greatly benefitted from this & he was usually able to stay up & enjoy the later dinners.

It's better to include him in the PS, then not- otherwise he won't have a place to sit at the table! It's easier for the hostess to downsize your group when checking in, then to try and find a larger table. Also, if he falls asleep, are you cancelling the entire PS? You can't bring strollers tableside (usually).
I'm travelling with my 4 yo in Dec., and I am making PS for around 6-ish because we've done this trip before (when he was 3, and 3 1/2) and I have learned that a crabby, hungry, tired preschooler makes everyone's trip miserable - it is much easier for adults to adjust their schedules (usual dining times) then preschoolers! (and yes, we took afternoon breaks). Just my opinion- Jill

no strollers at tables
l did,nt consider that , l just thought if he got tired he could sleep through it .
thanks for the warning :)
