Do kids need ID to upgrade tickets to AP?

I am planning on upgrading our tickets to AP on our trip. Will I need to bring a photo copy of birth certificates? Kids are 7 & 11. Thanks!

When I upgraded my daughter's (14) ticket in June, I did not need any ID for her. They were able to use her Magic band for her information. My husband did need his ID. Hope this helps.

They didn't ask for ID when we upgraded my son's ticket to an AP (he was 12)
