DS is 5 and I know will wll be bringing tennis shoes for him, but am thinking about Crocs, too. How have your kids done with Crocs at Disney?

My DS9 & DS7 have worn them several times now and they absolutely love them. My DS12 will not wear them because they are just not cool enough:confused3

Pretty much from summer to fall all DD wears are her Crocs...she now has 5 pairs so I can at least rotate/color coordinate them! They are great for Disney.

My son wears them to/from pool and if we're going on a wet ride. He doesn't really love them - tends to walk right out of them a lot, but the next size smaller is too small. :confused3
I have been wearing my mammoths all winter though...

Same problem here too! My daughter does just fine in them, but my DS6 walks right out of them too. We have always just worn tennis shoes at Disney. Tennis shoes are the shoe of choice for us.

My kids wore them non-stop last spring when we were there! I had hard time getting them to wear anything else. At the time they were 20 months and 42 months (not quite two and four). We even lost one in the water waiting for the boat launch coming from the Hoop Dee Doo Revue but a nice man was able to get it back for us. A definite advantage to crocs is that they float!

My ds 7 wore his Crocs all-day and every day of our 8-day trip last week. Dd 5 wore hers the first 4 or 5 days, then switched to her Striderite fisherman sandals.

My kids only wore their crocs. Now DS won't wear any other shoe, so he wears crocs year-round.

I took two pairs of Crocs for each of my DD's last month along with a pair of sandals each and tennis shoes. The first day they wore sandals and then wore Crocs the rest of the week. They walked for miles with no complaints and can hardly wait to wear them at home once it warms up!

Yes. My DS8 wears them the entire time we're at Disney. I do too. As he put it "they're the most comfortable shoes in the world!"

Absolutely! My daughter and nieces (ranging in age from 3 to 10) wore them all day, every day while we were there. The only suggestion I have for you is to take a pair of socks. Sometimes they get a little sweaty during the afternoon and that can be annoying to walk in. We figured it out by day 2 and the kids were much happier with socks under them at times.

We've never worn our crocs while at WDW (always Stride Rite sandals) in the summer, but I'm thinking that's what they kids will wear this time. They LIVE in them at home as that is all they will wear (except for church) and I'm guessing they will be most comfortable in them there, too.....

DS will be 19 months...right now he is wearing extra wide stride rites, will the crocs be wide enough if his foot doesn't slim down?

Last year, I bought the Addidas flip flops with the bottoms of the
shoe feel like memory foam-the most comfortable shoes I ever wore,
gonna get another pair for this trip in Aug. However, I don't know
if they come in childrens sizes as my daughter went into women's last
year. But after reading this thread-I may go buy Crocs. How happy
my other half would be if I only packed 1 pair of shoes to my usual 7!!!

My DD has worn Crocs through 3 trips to WDW (when she was 6 and 7 years old). That is ALL she wore! DS got blisters from his Crocs last July and wore sneakers the rest of the trip--BUT he wore them non-stop through the rest of the summer back home and through another WDW trip in January. I think it might have been the combination of the Crocs and the humidity for him. I'm not going to waste my money on sandels this summer, I'm only buying Crocs! They prefer to wear them and I don't mind!!

You mean there are other shoes besides Crocs? :lmao:

My DD wears Crocs ALL the time. She just outgrew her 8/9's and we went shopping for some 10/11's. And DD #2's foot is just about big enough to fit into the 4/5's. I have some waiting for her!

So all of us wear Crocs nearly all the time unless it is raining out. I cant stand wet socks/feet.

absolutely! crocs are made wide - they are suppose to be roomy. if you go online to their website, they have specific directions on how to fit yourself.
