Do just adults do these rides?

Ok, so I want to try some rides, but I always see kids or kids with parents on them and feel self conscious going on. Are there rides like this that some of you as adults only go on? For instance, Emotional Whirlwind and Jumpin' Jellyfish.

I ride the Jumpin' Jellyfish with my DH occasionally. It's about all I can handle for going up and down in a ride. I have ridden Guardians, but it was one and done for me since it left me feeling a bit too ill to enjoy anything for a while afterwards. I haven't tried Emotional Whirlwind yet because I am concerned it will make me nauseous, but I wouldn't hesitate to ride it just because I am an adult.

I love them both and would totally ride solo. The commentary from the characters on the Emotional Whirlwind is hilarious! I love the wait in line just to listen to them chime in as it's going round and round....all I can remember specifically is Disgust and her comment about your hair when you're finished - cracked me up.

I’ve ridden both as a solo adult. Haven’t done jellyfish in a while. I’ve done emotional whirlwind at least once just to say I’ve ridden it.

I ride them usually at least once a trip.

Are those rides still at DCA? I thought they changed the names of them...

Yes. They're still there. Emotional Whirlwind is relatively new too (opened summer 2019). It is the former Flik's Flyers from Bugs Land if that's what you're thinking of?

Jumpin' Jellyfish has been there since DCA opened.

I should clarify, I didn't mean solo. I meant with another adult. But I see that some have responded they've gone with adults only.

Back when it was Bug's Land, I would ride the caterpillar ride all by myself. Loved it!

Edited to add: I'm a grown adult, with two college aged kids.

Jumping Jellyfish is kinda fun, but too short!
The line is usually under 10 minutes so my husband and I sometimes go on it a few times! XD

The only ride I feel uncomfortable in at Disneyland is Casey jr train ride. But even with my son, it is a little weird for me. It’s just that the train just doesn't seem designed for adults. When bugs land was open, maybe some of those as well if I was alone.

I ride Jumpin Jellyfish once in a while. Nobody seems to think it's odd. While I do think of it as a little kid ride, one of my adult daughters actually thought it was kind of scary when we were facing the water. It did have a look/feel like we were going to fall into the water.

Casey Jr. is one of my favorite rides. The seats are tiny and I won't ride in the cages, but if I get a seat in the front or back, I love it.

Even if there are people who give you a funny look: You will never see these people again in your lifetime, and they will have forgotten you as soon as the ride is over.
Their opinion about you doesn't matter.

My wife and I rode everything before our kid came along. It's Disneyland, no judgement in the park! Unless someone is being extremely rude...
