. Actually we just spent 30 bucks getting the poddle groomed . DW didn't like the Nair idea

I bought a Wahl electric trimmer (it is the best you can get....you can even sheer sheep with it!!). It cost me around $40 and I have used it many times to give Tazz a hair cut. It took a couple times to get his "look" down good (we won't discuss the first cut!!) but now he's a snazzy looking pup!
I just trimmed him Saturday. His coat gets so thick and you can tell when he's uncomfortable. Took him down to 1/2 inch. I do leave his tail longer though. The first time I trimmed his tail, he looked so depressed!!
