Do inside cabins make you claustrophobic?

If you think you could handle it either way, you could book it and try to upgrade at port for less money.

My last cruise was 4 nights on the Wonder in a standard inside cabin. We liked it just fine. However on our TA cruise, I used the veranda a lot to read and just enjoy seeing the ocean. I like having coffee in the morning on the veranda. Going to the adult area to enjoy the coffee meant getting ready for the day first. We did it on the 4 night and if it were the only way I could go on the TA, I would do it.

...I still like the veranda where I can read or watch the sea without hundreds of people milling around me.

I'm with you there. We try to book the verandah on the longer cruises if we can. Otherwise, I'm just happy to be on the ship. :D

We did the 2015 EBTA in an inside stateroom and don't regret it one bit. We don't spend a lot of time in our room anyway.

4 of our 6 DCL cruises have been inside staterooms and I don't regret it at all. The price difference, especially on the classics, is too much to justify a veranda IMO. Plus, on the classics the Quiet Cove area on Deck 9 and Deck 4 are awesome for just sitting and watching the waves go by.

I don't think I would like an inside room, but if it's the only way I could afford it I'd do it. I booked a 11b gty on our upcoming cruise. We were given a 10a secret porthole room. I guess I still won't be trying an inside. I may try to upgrade to a 9b. I prefer deck 2 over deck 5.
