Do I win worst mother??

nope. I hold that title thankyouverymuch! My son's teacher sent home a note the other day requesting that he wear underwear to school.:rolleyes1 I checked when I read it- and he was full on commando!

OMG!!!! Over the summer, we went to an indoor playground on a rainy day. I'm sitting there, watching DS4 on the climbing structure, when yoohoo - JUNK!!!! He had on shorts, and nothing under them. We've never left any establishment that fast :rotfl:.

Wwe once showed up to a party only to discover that my son had NO shoes! My Nanny who has alzheimers can't remember me much, but she always seems to remember "the boy who didn't have any shoes"!:lmao:

That's hilarious!:rotfl2: I have actually arrived at the grocery store and went to get DD4 out of the car and she had NO shoes! Oh yeah - I'm a good Mom too!

Twice this has happened to me - once with each child, but they were going to daycare!

No, you are not the worst mom! We all do these crazy things and think we are terrible moms.
I sent my DD5 to kindergarten with a cough the other day. She didn't feel warm to me and she was just coughing a little bit.
I got a call an hour later- apparently she was running a 102 temp and couldn't stop coughing. Boy, did I feel like a shmuck. I just wanted to get her off to school.

I have also shown up at various places with no shoes on my DD's feet.

I went to the grocery store the other day- and didn't realize till I put my DD3 into the shopping cart that she was wearing an old silk negligee of mine as a dress. (she uses it as dress-up) It's see-through. At least she was wearing her Ariel undies!!! :scared1:
It was mortifying. How I buckled her into her car seat without noticing is beyond me! :confused3 :confused3 OOps!

Okay, I'll play. When ds was in first grade, he went to a summer program wearing his sister's skort! He looked fine from the back... He had a long shirt on, so I didn't realize it until I picked him up (I had put it in his drawer). :rotfl2:

That is too funny...when my daughter was three she insisted on wearing her dress up princess shoes to Macy's. I never took her to a store at that age, but I was desparate to pick up some cosmetics. I compromised and let her wear one. I got lots of looks...but the grand plan worked, she could not run as fast! So do you get the award for not noticing or do I for doing it intentionally!

That is one I fear will happen to me. My youngest (3 1/2) is always taking her bottoms off and leaving them in the bathroom when she goes to the bathroom. It is obvious when she has shorts/pants on but the other day she had a dress on and was standing by the door ready to go out when I ran into the bathroom for myself and saw her underwear. I'm certain they would not be happy about a little girl wearing a dress with nothing under it at her school. Her preschool teacher last year said if the girls were wearing dresses/skirts they had to wear shorts under them. So I'm sure comando wouldn't fly very well ;)

My DD is the same way. One day, as we are walking into the art museum to pick up big sis, DD lifts her dress over her head & proclaims "Mommy, I forgot my panties!":scared1: Of course, all of the other Mommies were walking in at the same time & got an eyeful! Now we have panty checks, just in case.;)

If you are, then I must win worst wife! My DH looked down at his feet at a Rascal Flatts concert and realized that he had on two different flipflops!:rotfl:Then he was worried that people would notice and think he was weird :rotfl:

I went to pick up my DD from Pre-K one day and the teacher was hysterical. She told me I was in for a talking to. She said she had mentioned to my DD that she had her shoes on the wrong feet. My DD assured her that she was very embarassed and that she would have a talk with me when she got home. :lmao: I had actually been rushing out and helped my daughter put her shoes on the wrong feet. Instead of telling me, she dutifully went off to school like that and stayed that way all day, just so she could show me what I had done! :rotfl:

OMG!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I love it! My DD8 has had so many of these types of situations! I got to daycare one day when she was 2 and she had stripped down to her underwear along with two other kids and one the other mothers was completey upset and all that I could do was laugh. My DH & I later explained to our DD that she needs to keep her clothes on at all times, unless she is changing, etc.

I'm not sure I want to know, but how did his teacher know?

My kids hate underware so much that they think as long as mom checked I can hide and take them off:scared: Having 5 kids also meand having many pairs of socks to put on and that too is a big hassle. Last weekend I thought my DS 6 put on his socks but when we got home I found out he didn't and had the worst blisters apparently scater shoes and bare feet don't go well.

Oh get this! Got the kids up early one morning, threw them in the car and drove to Disney, only to find my then 8yo DD didn't have ANY shoes! Had to go find a wal-mart before we could go to the parks! :rotfl:

ROFL!! My DH is retired military and has been in college for the last 4 years. About a year ago he went to school, and sitting in class realized he was still wearing his SLIPPERS! :rotfl2:

My dd17 at the time, was standing in my WEDDING with barefeet. We packed up everything and headed for the church. Didn't notice until it was too late that she didn't have any. Not many women (girls) wear a size 11 so borrowing was out of the question as well.

Too funny! I know when my DH pointed out his mixed up feet and started to get upset about it, I was thinking.."and this is my fault HOW?" :lmao:

Because deep down they really do think we are supposed to act like their MOMMY and protect them from themselves!! :rotfl:
