So I decide to take the kids to home depot to look at blubs to plant over the weekend. On our way out I look down at my boy and see this...

That's hilarious!:rotfl2: I have actually arrived at the grocery store and went to get DD4 out of the car and she had NO shoes! Oh yeah - I'm a good Mom too!

I dunno, I think there's a special award for moms that take a situation like that, snap a pic & share it w/everyone for laughs!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 And is that two left shoes to top it off?? :lmao: THANKS, I needed a good laugh!!

I AM feeling like a bad mom because I got called by the school nurse again this week for DS this time (DD earlier in the week) and I assumed he was just embarrassed about going to the bathroom at school. It turns out he really does have an upset system & I didn't get her last 2 calls to come pick him up. :guilty: The mom that watches him after school called for me to get him & I didn't get her call right away either.

I giggle every time I see your little one's feet - I'm guessing he got his own shoes on today? :rotfl2:

?-how old is he? And you must wonder if you've done it before since he didn't argue about it with you!!!!!:lmao: :rotfl2:

nope. I hold that title thankyouverymuch! My son's teacher sent home a note the other day requesting that he wear underwear to school.:rolleyes1 I checked when I read it- and he was full on commando!

:rotfl2: Oh my that is something that I don't think I have ever feared but now I will!

:rotfl2: I agree that at least he had some shoes on.

Thank you for the best chuckle I have had all day - considering I have to start work AGAIN in a few minutes I really needed it! :rotfl:

omg.

A couple of years ago my DS 9 (currently) wore my DH underwear to school. It was quite a size difference. (They were all bunched up under his shorts). :rotfl:

That is one I fear will happen to me. My youngest (3 1/2) is always taking her bottoms off and leaving them in the bathroom when she goes to the bathroom. It is obvious when she has shorts/pants on but the other day she had a dress on and was standing by the door ready to go out when I ran into the bathroom for myself and saw her underwear. I'm certain they would not be happy about a little girl wearing a dress with nothing under it at her school. Her preschool teacher last year said if the girls were wearing dresses/skirts they had to wear shorts under them. So I'm sure comando wouldn't fly very well ;)

Thanks for the laugh. I my middle son in preschool insisted that he wore mixed shoes. When he drew his self portrait it had 2 different colored shoes! My DS 3 will put his crocks on the wrong feet and refuse to change them. We have also shown up places w/o shoes. I try to keep a pair for him in the car just in case now. I am so there w/ you right now

I went to pick up my DD from Pre-K one day and the teacher was hysterical. She told me I was in for a talking to. She said she had mentioned to my DD that she had her shoes on the wrong feet. My DD assured her that she was very embarassed and that she would have a talk with me when she got home. :lmao: I had actually been rushing out and helped my daughter put her shoes on the wrong feet. Instead of telling me, she dutifully went off to school like that and stayed that way all day, just so she could show me what I had done! :rotfl:

:lmao: I had a scare this year where I thought DS went to school with NO shoes on!!! I looked down at the couch and saw his green Crocs, which were what he was wearing before the bus came. :scared1: Did I really send my kid to school with no shoes on? I called the teacher in a panic but didn't get through to her. Luckily when DS came home he had on his sneakers. He must have swapped before the bus came to get him.

i actually still keep extra flipflops in our car for dd8 and ds7. even this past summer, we all jumped in the car to go to my bro's house, and ds wasn't wearing shoes (but i had the extra flipflops!) :thumbsup2

The picture is so funny. That you had your wits about you enough to take a pic and laugh about it makes me think your the best mom winner!

We had an underwear situation too! Except dd5 at the time had decided to wear her dd16 at the time's THONG underwear under her dress on picture day. Yeah..it was embarrassing, especially since I didn't even know dd16 had thong underwear. Everyday after that I had to check under dd5's dress to make sure she was wearing HER underwear. The teacher said she thought something was wrong because she kept hitching up her dress, so when they had potty break she happened to notice dd's underwear around her shoes as she sat on the potty. Thank goodness back in those days all the kindies had to have an extra set of clothes at school for accidents. I was really embarrased to get that note and the bag with the thong in it.
