Do I understand this correctly????

I have already banked my 160 points for June 2011. I was going to use my 160 points for use year June 2012 for a total of 320 points. Here is the problem, We have been planning to try and get Kidani Village for about 12 days at the end of September into early October...Now here is the problem...Do my 2011 banked points expire the last day of May 2012? Or do I just have to call and make my reservations by May 2012 for travel in Sept/Oct? We are going to really scramble if travel must be done by the end of May so we don't lose our banked 2011 points. Sorry if this is simple, but I find this all pretty darn confusing...Thanks for any advise!!!

Point received on June 1, 2010 expire on May 31, 2011 and can be banked until May 31, 2012
Points received on June 1, 2011 expire on May 31, 2012.
If you bank them, they are then valid from June 1, 2012 - May 31, 2013.

Because you banked your 2011 points, you won't get them until June 2012. They don't expire until May 2013. Hope this helps.

If you were to call today to reserve Sep or Oct 2012 trip, you could use June 2011 points if banked, June 2012 points which will be the "current" use year points for that trip, and June 2013 points if you need to borrow points.

Everything is based on when you travel and not when you call. You really have all your points for your contract already...what happens though on your UY is that points simply change status from next UY's points to current UY's points.

The easiest way for me to remember what I can use when is to first figure out UY of travel. Once I know that, I know that I can use banked points from the previous UY, points for UY of travel, and then borrow any points from the UY after travel to complete the reservation.

Your Sept/Oct 2012 trip falls in your 2012 UY so you can use any banked 2011 points, 2012 points, and borrow 2013 points. Since you already banked your 2011 UY points, those are all set to use for this reservation.

You can call now and secure that reservation if AKV is your home resort...if not, then you can call at the 7 month window.
