Do I understand bridging tickets correctly?

I am planning on purchasing the buy 4 get 3 days free offer they have at ParkSavers. I need a total of 10 days though, so I will be adding on 3 days after we get there. The price at Park Savers is $389. A 7 day parkhopper at Disney is $439 and a 10 day is $469. Am I correct in thinking that if I use at least one day on my ParkSavers ticket before adding the days, I will only have to pay $30 total (plus tax). I'm doing this for 6 tickets so I want to make sure I have my math right. Also, do cast members refer to this as "bridging tickets" or is this just a disboard term? I don't want any crazy looks if I have to explain myself :thanks:

Using a day first or not doesn't matter. If the CM doing your upgrade knows what they're doing, they'll bring the tickets to gate price ("price bridging") first. If they don't, they won't. It's a manual process regardless of usage.

Price bridging is a term used by Disney, but if you have to ask for it, the CM may be the type who will argue about it for no discernible reason.
