Do I skip the Dwarves at MVMCP to see all the nighttime events?

If we want to see all the Christmas events during the party, what time do we need to grab some curb? I'm seeing:

7:30 Celebrate the Season
8:00 Frozen Holiday Wish
8:15 Christmas Parade
9:15 Celebrate the Magic
9:30 Holiday Wishes

To find a good viewing spot to see all of these, do I need to be camped out before the party starts in order to have a good location for the 7:30 CTS? We were gonna line up around 6:15 to meet the Dwarves, but now I'm worried if we do that we won't get a seat anywhere decent for the 2 hours you need a seat for to see everything I mentioned.

Am I better off just grabbing some curb around 6:30 and not really taking in anything regarding the party, just so I have a good spot for those 5 events?

I waited in line at the MNSSHP last year to see the Dwarves. We spent about 40 minutes in line, then we got our 15 second ultra quick photo taken, and we were hurried along. Not even close to a meet and greet, and I didn't feel like it was worth it. We have one blurry picture that a CM took for us because I didn't want to spend the money for a Photopass. I wouldn't do it, unless you are really trying to get photos with every character or something.
