Do I REALLY NOT Have to Worry About Fast Pass Return Time???

y do they allow this tho? just curious

They allow it because hypothetically, you could get stuck somewhere else and be unable to make it back to the ride, due to circumstances beyond your control. Or, as the PP said, the ride may be down (I'm looking at you, INDY) when you return during your FP window. Also, they have realized that so few people (relatively) have bothered to figure out FP, that it doesn't screw up the system to have people returning later than the return window time.

Honestly, every time we took the FP return line to walk onto a ride, and walked past those hordes of people waiting for an hour, we just looked at each other and said in wondering tones, "WHY? Why would ANYONE wait in an hourlong line when, with a little planning, it's not ever necessary?"

::yes:: I agree! ::yes::I've done the same thing! I would never stand in any line for an hour or more --especially if you can plan ahead and get a FP!
To the OP, I've only had CMs say anything to me a couple of times --once a few years ago on Indy, and on the same trip, on BTMRR. Both times they let us on, they just said (as they looked at the ticket), "Next time try to make it back here sooner." But they took the ticket and they let us go. I haven't heard a thing about it since then and that was about 3 or 4 years ago during a very busy Christmas time trip. Even then everyone would say that you could use your FP ticket at any time. Maybe I just looked like an easy target to scold or something...:rolleyes:Or maybe the CMs were busy, grouchy and had a long day. Both incidences happened at night after I collected FPs all day long, and as I said, it never happened before or since then.

It's true.
We asked a CM once on Autopia about if we can return much later than the FP says because we wanted to go to CA, and he said not a problem, come back anytime after the return date.
:scared1:
