Do I really need one APH for each room?

Back in March when I made my reservations for 2 rooms for the RPH in July
I was told that if I got the APH rate I would only need one APH if my children were in the second room. Yesterday I got the APH rate but was told that I have to have a pass for each room. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would I get a different answer if I called the RPH direct, rather than the 800- bea star?
Thanks!
I can't wait to go!!!

I was told both here and when calling The Hard Rock directly that I would need one AP for each room even though my children would be occupying the second room. Not what I wanted to hear but what can you do. Hope this helps!

I had to call again today because my confirmation email was wrong. They had applied the APH discount to only one of the rooms. This time I was told that, yes, if my family was in the other room I would only need 1 pass.
The agent said that she would note this on the new confirmation email. I will let you know.

I have it confirmed in writing that I need only 1 AP for the 2 rooms.
This time the agent was very nice and helpful.

It really does depend on whom you speak with! Good thing you have it in writing. :)
