Each park has it's own parking lot. Parking is $6/day. Keep your ticket, if you came back or go to another park you don't have to pay again that day. Hotel lots are reserved for hotel guests.

I agree....I think much first day fun is the walk to the tram and the ride to the parks....you can park at the resorts if you have dinner reservations or just to look around for a while...which I would suggest at the Grand Floridian and the Wilderness Lodge....both incredible places.....Ted

We stayed off-site and always drove ourselves to the parks. I liked having my own car there and not being at the 'mercy' of the hotel transportation, be it Disney's transportation or the off-site hotel's transportation.

The resorts are giving three hour parking passes so you would have to move your car. Save the resort parking lots for those paying to stay there and park in the lot of the park you are going to visit.

Once you pay for parking during the day, you are paid for any lot for the entire day. We usually go to one park in morning, leave take nap or swim, than in the afternoon go to another park. Just keep your parking receipt on your dash.
