i have this quick question!

do i need to purchase tickets separately for downtown disney.

i have park hopper tickets !!

till what time is it open and is it far from the parks ?

Thanks ,

Saab

Downtown Disney doesn't require any tickets at all (except for some events/attractions like DisneyQuest and Cirque du Soleil).

you guys are awesome. i thought you needed tickets to go there. Just one more qus is it far from the parks.. and till what time is it open

Other than The Cirque du Soleil show, Disneyquest, and Pleasure Island, you will be able to access anything on DTD. DTD is always a favorite to begin and end our trip. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. Be sure to visit The World of Disney which is the biggest Disney retail shop on property and Goofy's Candy Company where you can make your own custom caramel apples and other goodies.

PS: If your park hopper has the water parks and more option then, you may go to Disneyquest and Pleasure Island.

By the way i am going tomorrow :Pinkbounc

The shops at Downtown Disney & dining ( exluding PI which opens around 3 or 3:30 ) start opening around 11:00. Guest Relations opens slightly earlier than that - but I do not have that time at the moment.

You can walk around all of DTD's "streets" for free. As mentioned, you only need tickets to go inside Cirque, DisneyQuest and the Pleasure Island clubs. :) You can also walk the "streets" of pleasure island for free and buy drinks and such outside.

That was very useful. Till what time are the shops open . can i go after 9:30pm???

It's a place to shop and eat. I doubt people would go there if they charged admission.

Here ya go! http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/downtown.htm

If I read your post right, you will arrive at WDW on Thursday, 6/29. According to AllEars DTD is open until 11 PM. I don't know if that means all the stores are open that late (I've never been there that late myself, and the 11 PM hours may be meant to accomodate the restaurants), but most stores are probably open at least until 9:30 or 10 PM.

West Side & Market Place shops are open until 11. I think Virgin stays open slightly later on some nights.

The Pleasure Island shops are open until about 1:00am. They're known as the Disney "Last Resort or Last Chance" shopping - before you jump on your 6am flight. :rotfl:

Also, if you go to DTD & you like Christmas Ornaments, don't miss the Christmas shop. They have more Disney ornaments than you can image!

Lots of good places to eat at DTD.

We're eating at Planet Hollywood our first night. I think I want ADR at 6pm Any advise ou this time. Will probably shop abit (Ha HA) AFTER EATING.
