Do I Need Park Hoppers?

We are planning a possible summer visit to WDW. We know we want 7 days of park tickets with Water Parks. Is it necessary to get Park Hoppers if we want to go from say, AK to Typhoon Lagoon? Or are the park hoppers only if you want to go from say, AK to MK (ie--hop the 4 major parks)? I'd ask a CM, but I always get different answers.

These are our plans (briefly)--maybe you can tell me if we are okay with just 7 day MYW + Water Parks

Day 1 Magic Kingdom (pm)
Day 2 EPCOT
Day 3 Hollywood Studios (am); Typhoon Lagoon (pm)
Day 4 rest day
Day 5 Animal Kingdom (am); Blizzard Beach (pm)
Day 6 Epcot (am); Water Park (pm)
Day 7 Magic Kingdom
Day 8 Animal Kingdom (am)

You would only need the hopper if you plan to go to more than one of the four main parks in the same day. A water park to a main park doesn't require a hopper.
