Do I need an appt. for the tailors?

I have never had anything tailored. I usually just walk on the backs of my pant cuffs. I'm only 5'2". I bought some pants that are about a foot longer than me and need them hemmed. Do I need to make an appt. with the tailor (who is also a dry cleaner) or can I just show up? And how much does it cost on average and will need to pay today or when I pick them up? I would call but I cannot find the phone number. Thanks!

Unless your tailor is a DISer who normally reads the CB, I suspect none of us will have the answer you need.

If you can't call (have you Googled?) I would stop by and ask in person, bringing your items with you in case they can work with you on the spot

The tailor I use is usually available for walk ins. I would think that would depend on the person and job to be done. I paid when I picked up, but again I think this would depend on the tailor. I can't remember how much it cost.

Thanks! Like I said I have never had anything tailored so I didn't know if they all did things basically the same or not.
