We are getting really excited for our upcoming trip and we plan on spending one afternoon at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland. Do I need to make arrangements ahead of time (ie: a reservation) for when we want to play? Also, anyone with experience, do you have a favorite of these two courses? It will be me, DH, DS7, DS5 and DS2.

Thanks

Nope. Just show up to FG and WSL. You give them your name, then they will call it 2-6 minutes later (to space the people out). I know at WSL, once you play your first round (Winter or Summer), you can play the other at half off. Also, the first round is half off if you have APs or PAPs.

Thanks for the info. Great news on the Ap's. I knew those bad boys would come in handy again. :cool1:

I've played all except the "Big" mini course at Fantasia Gardens. The winter course at Winter Summerland is fun - just beware of "Squirty" the snowman :earboy2: The Fantasia Gardens course is very cool too - very musical theme - don't forget to read the sheet music for tips on how to play each hole. My DS 5 loves to play, and the AP/PAP discount is awesome.

We just returned and spent one whole day at Blizzard Beach and then WinterSummerland which is right next door. You can park once and get it all in. We had to play the Summer course because the Winter one was getting some work done. I will say that with three kids 10, 8 and 4, we were kind of slow and had to let several groups play through. We just showed up and waited about 10 min for our time slot.

We played last year at Fantasia Gardens and the walk up wait time was 1 hour. They told us you could only make same day reservations in person so I went over the next morning and made reservations for that evening. When we showed up that evening the walk up wait time was 90 minutes so I was glad I had a reservation.

I didn't know you could do that! Can these be made for WinterSummerland as well?

A group of us from the DIS played the Gardens course at Fantasia Gardens last month, and it sure was a lot of fun! The course was very colorful, and cool. I'd definitely recommend it :)
