do i have to purchase park tkts seperately or can they be added to room key?

Just bought into DVC. So my park tkts have always been part of my room key as part of my magic your way pkg. How does it work now that we have the DVC? do we have to purchase them seperately or can they still be added to our room card?

(To both o )You can buy your tickets seperately, and as long as you don't get the DVC AP, the resort concierge can add your existing tickets to your room key, or you can buy new ones and have them added.

Ever since becoming DVC members I have purchased our tickets through UT. When we arrive at the resort I simply present them with the tickets and have never had a problem with having them added to the room key. Have no idea what will happen with the new ones and the new fast pass bracelets....

My understanding of how it's supposed to work is:
Once everything is up and running, you will be able to claim MYW tickets using MDE and associate them with a MagicBand. You will also be able to claim MYW tickets for any Family & Friends profiles on your account that you manage using MDE and then associate those MYW tickets to that persons MagicBand. I believe there will also be a link to claim MagicBands. It appeared briefly on the MDE website, but was taken down just as quick.

Ah, I see, so for example - I have a 6 day MYW ticket at home that I bought from UT. I would be able to go online and enter the number from the ticket to associate with a MagicBand? Therefore, be able to reserve fastpass - etc. ahead of time?

So you still purchase them ahead of time and they just transfer them basically to your room key so you don't have to have them with you? I just don't want to have more than one thing to worry about, which is why I like the idea of that bracelet. one universal device for everything is what I'm looking forward to.

The concierge desk at the resort can put them on your KTTW card for you if you purchase them ahead of time.
