Do I HAVE to do my ADR's with the Grand Gathering people?

I'd like to call WDW - Dine directly but do I have to do a party of 11 that way?

Not all of my meals will be with 11 people and I'd rather talk to someone who is pretty knowledgable about dining than someone from another department. The reviews from the grand gathering department are not good and I don't want any confusion.

You don't have to go thru GG, and I found them to be pretty slow and I've spent 45 mins on line only to be cut off before.

I do remember Narcossee's any party of 10 or more had to go to the restaurant directly but that was my only reservation of 10 so I wasn't sure.

I just did all my ADRs for a group of 12 of us in December by calling WDW dining directly. Same as you, I was making some reservations for all 12 of us and some for just DH and me. All went smoothly.
