Do I have to do anything special to book for someone else?

A good friend of mine is getting married in March and I am giving them 300 of my points to cover the room portion of their honeymoon (well, up to 300 points, it just depends on where they want to go and how long).

I know that it's possible to do this as people rent points all the time but I've never done it before.

Is it as simple as phoning member services and booking the room in their name?

Not sure when they are going to go, I would imagine in March straight after their wedding but if they need to postpone I might try to convince them to wait till September\early October for food and wine.

Assuming they are happy and are good with my recommendation then I think a studio savannah view at Kidani village is in order. :)

It is just that easy. What a nice gift! :)

btw..if they want ME or a dining plan, you'll need to be the one to add those.

Cool!

I have a feeling they'll want to visit Uni so they might get a rental car but I can see them getting the dining plan.

I'm going to see if I can co-ordinate with the best man to get other members of the wedding party to cover the other parts of the vacation.

It'd me nice to present them a done deal of flights, tickets, etc.
