Do I Have A Problem?

According to the calculator on Disboards,my 180 days starts tomorrow morning,6am,if I go online.

I booked through a company(we're doing the wine/dine 5k) that won't submit it's paperwork until October.

I got confirmation from the company that it's all set for November, 5 days,but I won't have a reservation number for the Caribbean Beach Resort until Oct.
Can I still make meal ressies tomorrow without a confirmation number?

Without a valid Disney resort reservation number, you will only be able to make an ADR for 180 days from that point and will not be able to make ADRs for any additional days. You will have to return each day to make your ADRs for the next day of your trip.

I had no resort reservation 2 weeks ago when I made ADRs for our October trip. I logged in for 7 days at 6AM and got every ADR I wanted at almost the exact time I wanted. Took about 5 minutes each day. I did not get BOG but was able to easily book:

yes, lots of character meals, 4 kids in our party.

I have kept trying for BOG but if I can't we will try lunch.

You can try contacting the company to see if they'll give you the Disney reservation number. Is it a travel agency? Usually TAs who own the reservation can give you the res number so you can make the 180 + 10 reservations yourself.

If they won't/can't give you the number you can still make reservations 180 days before the day you want to dine. You'll have to go online/call each day, however..

The TA said I wouldn't get any official ressie numbers until October, so I guess I'm looking at making ressies everyday for the next 5 days.

We also don't have a park hopper option for the 5 days,so I have to make my food ressies first and make park plans around my B, L and Dinner ressies.......

maybe this is why we haven't been back in 10 years....the meal planning alone can be a tad overwhelming.......

I'm sorry you're having a hard time and I can understand your frustration. Making dining ressies is definitely stressful and challenging.

Some people have their TA make all of their reservations on the 180 + 10 day. If you give your TA all the info they can do it for you and you won't have to go online/call every day. At least by the end of the first day you'll know if the TA took care of the reservations for your entire trip.

Is this a special wine/dine package or something other than a regular resort res that might have different rules? Is your TA a Disney specialist? As I said before, although your TA controls the reservation and won't transmit the final info to Disney until close to your arrival date, usually the TA can give you the Disney resort res number soon after you book it because many people like to use a TA for some things, but make their own dining reservations.

Unfortunately, without the res number you'll have to make them daily. However, if you can't get what you want at first, keep checking online to see if something better comes up. With a few exceptions such as dinner at BOG, most things are fairly fluid and with persistence you can usually get what you want during the next 6 months.
